URYM conducted two Discipleship camps in the month of August-September, one in Mumbai – Exclusively for Students in North India and another in Madurai – exclusively for students from Southern Districts of Tamil Nadu.
North India – Mumbai Camp (28th to 30th August, 2025)
- We had students joining us from different cities of North India- Mumbai, Delhi, Indore, and Punjab.
- This camp has sparked the fire in hearts of the students, as a result, intercessory prayers and chain prayers, new college fellowships and area fellowships (two online) have started. We have witnessed life transformations through God’s Word and anointing.
- Many have received God’s calling in their lives, and around 30 youngsters have committed to serve God, and volunteer for URYM ministries.
South TN – Madurai Camp for girls (4th to 6th September, 2025).
- There was an overwhelming response and we had students from various districts of Tamil Nadu where our teams had travelled to pioneer fellowships over the past years. We had participants from Madurai, Trichy, Sivagangai, Paramakudi, Tanjore, Tenkasi, Virudhunagar, and Salem.
- Many were introduced to Jesus Christ for the first time. 18 girls have committed their lives to Jesus and accepted Jesus as their savior. 10 girls committed their lives to serve God; among them one has dedicated her life to serve God as a full-time worker.

Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

“All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
Reena**(name changed) had stopped praying, and drifted away from God. She had an encounter with God in the camp, and He has given her the gift of speaking in tongues and a burden for others. God has anointed her with His power. She has committed to remain in His will.
Benen received the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He is serving in the Church and God has given him a burden for the ministry of reaching out to unreached souls.Raja had difficulty in believing God; He experienced God’s touch, received anointing and gift of speaking in tongues.Prabhavathi has accepted Jesus as her personal saviour; she wants to pray and read the Bible daily, worship and serve the Lord till the end of her life.Fevina is strengthened and energized in her spiritual life, and has received the gift of speaking of tongues.
Agnes Sweetha testified that “God has touched my lips, and gave an ability to speak in tongues, first time I have cried uncontrollably and spoke in tongues from my heart.”
Stories of God’s Healing Miracles
Kiran, a girl from Delhi, found freedom from her past trauma. God granted her inner healing, and although an evil force had been preventing her from being delivered, she experienced a profound touch from God during the anointing session and she received the power of the Holy Spirit. God took her into His arms, and she is set free from her physical illness, and past painful burdens. She received the gift of the speaking in tongues, and was filled with the burden for perishing souls.
Rizwana** (name changed) is from the Islamic faith and has endured significant pain, trauma, and loneliness, which hardened her heart with bitterness and anger. Struggling to believe in God, she found hope during the camp when she saw others being touched by Him. Desperate for change, she cried out, “If You’re real, let me feel Your presence today—remove my pain.” In that moment, she broke down and felt God’s presence like never before. He lifted her burdens and began to heal her wounds. “I’ve surrendered my life to Jesus. I believe in Him now. I am a new creation, and the pain is gone,” she testified.
Pray for every life that was touched in the camp. Our team has started to follow up with them and connected them in the weekly small group fellowships.
What is God doing through URYM?
God’s work has expanded in the new campuses of Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi and different parts of Tamil Nadu.
- We are conducting approximately 80 college fellowships and 30 area fellowships.
- Intercessory prayers are held every Saturday in various locations.
- A leadership meeting takes place every two months.
Mission Trip updates
- Over Last few months our team members have travelled extensively to pioneer the fellowships in different places.
- Upcoming Mission Trips are scheduled in coming months to Punjab, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Salem other Southern Regions for the follow up work after the Overcomers’ camp and for the fellowships.
Continue to pray for the team and especially for the outreach programs planned during the Christmas season in order to reach non-believers.
